INFINITI QX80 Wins Popular Science Best of What’s New Award 2024

The redesigned 2025 INFINITI QX80 has earned a prestigious spot in the Popular Science Best of What’s New Awards, recognized in the automotive category. This flagship SUV stands out for its groundbreaking suite of technologies and luxurious design, making it a true leader in innovation and refinement.

One of the most exciting features of the QX80 is the segment-first Klipsch® Reference Premiere Audio System. With its bespoke 24-speaker setup, it provides an immersive audio experience that envelops every passenger. INFINITI and Klipsch engineers collaborated to integrate the interior and technologies seamlessly, bringing to life a truly extraordinary sound system.

Among the innovations is Individual Audio, a unique system that enhances the listening experience by allowing specific audio elements—like navigation directions, music, or phone calls—to be directed only to the driver’s seat. For example, the driver can take a phone call while passengers continue enjoying their music or listen to their favorite playlist while receiving map guidance, without disturbing those relaxing in the rear seats.
